IR Scanning Capabilities
CLE Electric utilizes a Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) camera to scan equipment for the purpose of troubleshooting systems, making proactive repairs, etc. The Infrared camera reveals hot spots on equipment and our team is trained to properly diagnose and document these results which are provided to the customer in a full report.
Common issues we find with IR Scanning which may require repair:
Failing Contacts inside circuit breakers
High Resistance Connections
Overloaded Circuits
This highlights how IR Scanning can find future issues and address them before equipment fails.
